Patient Policies

At 86INK Tattoo Removal & Skin Studio, we are committed to providing a seamless and elevated experience for every patient. The following policies help us maintain the quality of care our patients deserve.
1. Appointment & Cancellation Policy
We respectfully require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a $50 fee charged to the card on file.
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. We understand that unexpected circumstances arise — please contact us as early as possible if you need to make changes to your appointment.
2. Communication Consent
By submitting your contact information, you consent to receive communications from 86INK, including:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Follow-up care instructions
- Occasional promotional messages (if opted in)
Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any text message
- Contacting us directly by phone or email
3. Third-Party Booking
Online booking is facilitated through JaneApp, a secure third-party scheduling platform. By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge that you may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of that platform.
We have selected JaneApp for its robust security and HIPAA-aligned practices to protect your information.
4. Prepayment & Deposits
Certain services or package bookings may require a deposit at the time of scheduling. Deposits are applied toward the cost of your treatment. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.
5. Right to Refuse Service
86INK Tattoo Removal & Skin Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any individual for reasons including but not limited to: contraindications identified during consultation, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or disrespectful conduct toward staff.
6. Membership Policy
The following policies apply to all active 86INK membership plans. For the full membership terms, visit the Membership Terms page.
Billing
Memberships are billed monthly on an automatic recurring basis. The card on file will be charged each billing cycle. Members are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.
Cancellation
Memberships may be canceled at any time with a written request via email. Benefits remain active through the end of the current billing cycle. No further charges will occur after cancellation is processed.

Credit Expiration
Unused membership credits may roll over for up to 3 months from the date issued. Credits not used within this timeframe will expire and be forfeited. Credits are not redeemable for cash and hold no cash value.
Appointments
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments. Missed or late-canceled appointments may result in a fee or loss of applicable credit.
Pause Option
Memberships may be paused once per year for up to 60 days with a written request. Billing will automatically resume after the pause period ends.

Refunds
Membership fees are non-refundable. Services rendered using membership credit are non-refundable.
